The beach was really beautiful, especially water - so clean and warm (comparing to Italy). Except that, there was Snack bar, where you could have pizza, pasta, fries, salads and ice cream all day long and Bar with beer, soft drinks, vodka opened till midnight. And best were dinners, especially one with the traditional tunisian food. Food was average.the worst were breakfest, there was no good cheese or ham. If you leave something for the chambermaid, she will leave flowers on your bed. Rooms were simple, basic furniture, but always clean. Everybody was asking if we have a good time. I have to mention especially Stef, who was preparing activities for guests all day long and in the evening he was dancing and entertaining us (i have never seen someone with so much energy before!), but also other guys and girls were great. Animation guys were really nice, as well as waiters. As I am an adult and I was on vacation with my parents, I have to say, it is a great place to find new friends from all over the world. During the day there was a lot of animations (mini golf for kids, football, volleyball.) and in the evening, there was dance show and party after. I have to tell, that this hotel is great for families with small children, but also for a bunch of friends. I was staying in Samira club with my family (parents, brother) last week. We stayed in the yellow block and didn't find it noisy at all. ( little touches like that made our holiday ) We had a brilliant time but someone will always find something to moan about. All the staff knew it was his birthday and he got called Mr birthday. It was my boyfriends birthday while we were there and I arranged a cake before we went. There aren't many English families there but we met some and the staff do speak English. I would recommend this hotel as it was cheap but perfectly adequate. There are a row of shops selling everything you might need and all the usual knick knacks so we didn't go out of the hotel all week. There are free pedalos included in the all inclusive price. The hotel is right on the beach and the sea is lovely and warm. The entertainment in the evening gets very repetitive but we enjoyed ourselves. The animation team ask and if you say no they move on to someone else. There are a lot of things to do all day if you want from archery to water aerobics but we never felt hassled to join in. There is a snack bar that serves pizza and chips everyday from 10 am til midnight and it does doughnuts in the afternoon. The food was ok, we found something to eat everyday and the Tunisian evening down at the beach restaurant was lovely ( you get 1 Tunisian meal per stay ). The rooms are very basic and could do with a spruce up but the air con worked and that was a god send. The hotel is really nice and the staff are all extremely friendly. I have just come back from a week here with my boyfriend. We definitely go again in future and I would like to thank all the staff for working so hard. However this was really the only downer and didn't really spoil a beautiful holiday. Pretty dumb really when there is a mezzanine cafe down below next to beach to cater for this. They bottles and glasses next to the pool even though there signs that stated it was forbidden. Who insisted having their family meal right behind our heads next to the pool, literally inches us. My only real gripe was when the Manager brought some big shot local with two wives and around ten kids. My only gripe is the weekends when the locals Tunisians are allowed in probably family and friends. However we didn't experience this and all the nationalities we very pleasant. There has been a lot of speak of the Hotel doesn't cater for English. The entertainment could be a little repetitive, but they tried hard and always had fun. My answer is don't go abroad and try Butlins instead! We thought the food was excellent. People as usual said there nothing to eat like burgers etc. The food is the local affair with continental breakfast. It reminds of me Butlins as the chalet rooms back onto to each other and are coloured red, blue, green and yellow. However it is maintained really well and it doesn't look tired. It's not five star more a 3 star and it's a older hotel. It was really relaxing with a beautiful beach and pool. Just came back from a really nice stay at the Samira Club Hotel.
